Chaos Dynamic Study on Slope Stability Problem

The slope slip is an outer expression of complex systematic behavior. Through probing into the relationship between every influencing factor and the laws for the slope slip, the aim of predicting the time of slope slip was achieved. In this paper, chaos method in nonlinear dynamics was used to analyze slopes stability; the observation curve of slope slip is segmented rationally and largest Lyapunov exponent LE1 was extracted on every section curve; the sign of Lyapunov exponent can be used to analyze the chaos characteristics of the system. If LE1 is positive, the characteristic of this system will be chaotic, namely unstable; on the contrary, that of the system will be ordered, namely stable. This method can disclose the characteristics and laws of slope slip this complex systematic behavior more profoundly. It is of significant guidance meanings for preventing slope slip.
