Research on ECS of Cycloconverter Winch Based on CPLD and Microprocessor

This dissertation introduces the fundamental principle of the two-variable control theory (TVCT), and puts forward the non-circumfluence control method (NCCM) of the phase-controlled variable voltage variable frequency (VVVF) converter. Using the TVCT and the NCCM, the converter doesnt need a device for zero-crossing detection. Due to the inherent complexity along with high accuracy and good real time requirements of mine hoist AC-AC VVVF system, one kind of frequency variable speed regulating control system based on microprocessor and CPLD is designed. Besides the concerned main circuit and control units, operating principle are also discussed. Part of the VHDL program and the corresponding simulation results are also supplied to verify the validity of the suggested scheme.
