A Method for Mineral Identifying and Mapping Based on Endmembers of Hyperspectral Image
In the field of hyperspectral image and its applications, minerals were mostly identified and mapped by known reference spectral libraries (RSL) like USGS/JPL spectral libraries. The image-itself spectral library (ISL) derived from real-time image often is more available for mineral identifying and mapping than RSL by means of some techniques such as endmember collection, spectral feature fitting (SFF) and so on. a image endmember technique was probed to construct ISL based on a hyperspectral image of AVIRIS, then some geologic minerals was identified and mapped according to the ISL and spectral angle mapper (SAM).
