Research of Transient Components Line-Detection Leakage Protection Based on Wavelet Analysis In Mine
The methods of a novel underground line-detection leakage protection based on the processing of transient component with wavelet packet were summarized by analyzing the relations between the parameters and electrical fault characteristics of underground distribution networks. By analyzing the transient process of leakage fault happened to underground distribution networks in mine, the expression of residual voltage and residual instantaneous current was given. And by extracting transient component of leakage fault using wavelet transform, combining the characteristic of steady and transient states, the rational startup-value for underground line-detection leakage protection were given. The fault moment can be located precisely by singularity principle of wavelet, apply wavelet packet transform to sampled transient component, calculate the line-detection criterion composed by wavelet packet coefficients, and confirm the leakage faulty line by the line-detection criterion. Through different leakage fault simulation and EMTP emulator experiments, the results show that the new protection method is feasible and the novel line-detection leakage protection has great advantage in high sensitivity and accuracy.
