Research on Underground Power-distribution1 Integrated Automation System

According to the configuration characteristics and function requirements of the power supply system in colliery, this paper has designed underground power supply integrated automation system based on computer technology. The system is consisted of underground intelligent monitoring termination, information circuit and surface monitoring station. Underground intelligent monitoring termination collects the state parameters of the Electric Switches, and adjusts the parameter or operates the electric switches according to the control signal from the surface monitoring station. Substations receive the data from intelligent monitoring termination through 485-Bus, and change the electric signal to optic signal, then transmit them to surface monitoring station through optical fiber. The direction of the control signal is just opposite. The surface monitoring station adopts C/S structure. The server computer collects state parameters through serial-port. These data are stored and processed by database technology. The client computers visit server computer by TCP/IP protocol. The sample system operates safely, stably and effectively, and its performance fulfills the demand.
