Study of Variable Frequency Starting Performance of Mine-well Hoister Fed by Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor

In recent years, mine-well hoister fed by permanent magnet linear synchronous motor is developed extensively in deep mine-well. PMLSM which is core of mine-well hoister can use inverter with variable frequency starting for here without starting winding and starting process is very complex, so it is necessary to study the starting performances. Therefore the paper sets up the mathematical model of the variable frequency starting process of PMLSM. The simulation is carried out with the use of MATLAB. The curves of current, velocity and speed are obtained and analyzed at length. Finally the simulation results are testified.
