Experimental Study on the Metal of the Discarded Printed Circuit Boards Reclaimed by the Liquid-Solid Fluidized Bed
The liquid-solid fluidized bed is a gravity separation method. As a new trail, it has been used in reclaiming metal from the discarded printed circuit boards. During the process of the experiment, the effects of the speed of upward flow, feed rate of abrasive on the recovery and grade of metal have been examined in this paper. -1+0.5mm discarded PCBs under different water velocities and feed rate of abrasive in quasi-two-dimensional flow field was studied. The experimental results show that water velocities and feed rate of abrasive have regularity effects on the metal recovery and grade, which can afford us theory guiding significance on how to identify technological parameters in the actual separation process.
