Study on Correlation Information of Small Hidden Structure in front of the Coal Roadway

Based on the importance of advance prediction on small hidden structure in front of the mining roadway, in order to make geological safe management break away from experience management model controlled by miners, the author used the structural geology to describe the correlation information derived from small hidden structure in front of the coal roadway, which included correlation fold, correlation fracture, correlation strength reduction belt and other correlation coal information & roof strata information. And the importance of correlation information was studied for predicting small hidden structure, and the result shows that: according to the radius of predictive fold and the distance of correlation fracture and correlation strength reduction dot, the distance of small hidden structure in front of the coal roadway can be predicted quantitatively. So the method is simple and easy to be put into practice.
