Research on Mechanism and Application of Heading Face Isolated Gas Drainage
The gas of the heading face originates from the broken coal gas in the face front, the falling coal gas during heading, and the gas from pressure releasing area of the two sides of the roadway. Gas drainage in heading face should mostly consider the gas of the pressure releasing zone of the two sides, at the same time, attention should be paid to the gas of the front un-excavated district, letting them be within the range of the borehole drainage. According to the gas resources from the heading face, the paper deals with the principle, the design requirements, and the parameter optimization methods of the heading face isolated gas drainage. From the above, the relationship between the borehole layout parameters and roadway excavation speed and the gas drainage radius is obtained. During the gas drainage test in No. 12 Coal Mine of Pingdingshan Coal Mining Industrial Group, good gas prevention results are obtained.
