Study on Time-Effect of Coal and Gas Outburst
Along with increasing of coal mining depth and intensive producing in China, coal and gas outburst is becoming serious daily, and it is becoming very exigent that coal and gas outburst can be forecasted and predicted accurately. Increasing engineering observation and model tests show that coal and gas outburst have the time-effect character. The relationship between time-effect of outburst and geostresses, gas inside coal, physics-mechanics characteristics of coal and external action (blasting) are studied. It is concluded that time-effect of coal and gas outburst is produced by the combination of geostresses, gas inside coal, physics-mechanics characteristics of coal and external action (blasting). The studies show that Geostresses is the decisive factor of time-effect of coal and gas outburst; little coal internal energy and bad outer environmental condition of coal internal energy releasing is the reason caused time-effect as primary importance; when coal and gas system is in critical state disturbance of blasting can induce and accelerate coal and gas outburst , and high disturbance can also induce coal and gas outburst occur when coal and gas system is near critical state; coal and gas outburst is caused by a series of small fractures developing and evolving which has self-organization character, and the evolving of small fractures will control macroscopical failure models of coal and gas system.
