Determine Temperature and Humidity on Airway Surface In Simulation of Strata Heat Release
The method to determine the temperature and humidity on airway surface is put forward when finite difference method is applied to simulate heat and mass transfer between surrounding rock and airflow. It is more reliable and accurate theoretically using fitting function of rock temperature distribution to calculate temperature gradient on airway surface and heat release from strata rock. The heat release and airway surface temperature calculated according to fitting function have a little difference from those by traditional method. If the relationship between saturated moisture content of air and temperature is fitted into a linear curve quite big error will be caused in simulation of heat and mass transfer between airflow and surrounding rock of the airway. The error increases with the ventilation time and wetness factor of the airway surface, and decreases with the increase of airflow humidity. It is recommended that the relationship between saturated moisture content of air and temperature is fitted into a quadratic curve.
