The Thermodynamic Model of Spontaneous Combustion of Coal Field Outcrop under the Control of Forced Convection

The coalfield spontaneous combustion law is significant to the prevention and control of coalfield spontaneous fires. This paper analyzed the thermodynamic characters of coalfield outcrop fires and studied the dynamic change of fluid field, pressure field and temperature field of gases in coal and rock under the condition of forced convection heat transfer. By means of the theories of chemical kinetics, thermal fluid and combustion, thermodynamic model of coalfield outcrop spontaneous combustion, which includes pressure field equation, oxygen concentration field equation and heat exchange equation of gases between coal (rock) and fractures (voids), were set up. The thermodynamic model reflected the migration characters of spontaneous combustion heat sources of coalfield outcrop in coal and rock media.
