Study on Relationship between the CO Proliferation Quantity in Coal Seam and Coal Quality
In view of the phenomenon that CO exceeds standards for a long time in Kailuan Group and other coal mines without coal seam spontaneous combustion, we explore the relationship between CO proliferation characteristic in coal beds and the coal quality. The CO proliferation quantity in coal seam under normal temperature and pressure is mensurated, the industrial analysis, elementary analysis, proportion analysis of coal and rock are mensurated by experiment, the relationship between coal quality and the CO proliferation quantity in coal seam is analyzed, and the latter is found to be associated to max-reflectivity of vitrinoid group (R0,max%), content of vitrinoid group (%), ratio of carbon and hydrogen (C/H) and content of oxygen (Od%).The result indicates that CO proliferation quantity is direct proportion to max-reflectivity of vitrinoid group (R0,max%) , content of vitrinoid group(%)and the ratio of carbon and hydrogen (C/H), and it is in quadratic curve relationship with content of oxygen (Od%).
