Development of Cooling Load Prediction Program for High Temperature Coal Face

The purpose of this paper is to solve the problems of imprecision and troublesome calculation procedure in forecasting cooling load for high-temperate coal face. With the basic theory of Air-conditioning and Mine Ventilation and the application of temperature and humidity backward prediction, a method of cooling load prediction for high-temperate coal face is brought forward . Then the cooling load prediction program is developed with Visual Basic high class language. Combining with the experimental coal face(210807 face of NO.1 Mine of Huainan Xinji Group), the related parameters needed in the program was collected with investigation and experiment, and also the airflow parameters before and after coal face air-conditioning plant running were tested. Then the author predicts the cooling load of the experimental coal face with the developed program. With the contrast of the predicted and the tested value of cooling load, the accuracy of the developed program was tested. And it indicates that the developed program satisfies engineering usage requests and can be used in practices of cooling load prediction in high-temperate coal face.
