The Study on the Characteristic Zone Method of Fire Source and Application in Decision Making of Mine Fire Fighting

The airflow state control on mine fire is a most important task in fire fighting. The qualitative and quantitative synthetical analysis method helps to make the airflow control plan for miner evacuation and fire fighting safely. In this paper, the qualitative analysis method is applied to locate the airflow state regulators and the quantitative analysis method is applied to validate the effect of the airflow control plan. Because fire intensity is difficult to calculate, the qualitative and quantitative synthetical analysis method is difficult to be applied in practice. The characteristic zone method is employed to solve the difficulty in the estimation of fire intensity in practical fire fighting.
