Numerical Simulation of a Work Place with Different Air-Supply Velocity
Regardless of life or work, the humanity will need the specific air environment. If the air ingredient and its nature do not come to a certain condition, they will affect peoples normal life and production. In the industrial production process, as certain production crafts go on, there will appear massive heat, moisture, dust and the poisonous harmful gas. If effective protective measures are not taken to deal with these harmful substances, these substances will pollute the workshop and the air environment, and cause the enormous harm to the peoples health. To guarantee workers health and improve the quality of products in the industrial architecture, or to satisfy kinds of needs of peoples activities and their comfort, all requests the maintenance of a certain air environment. The specific air environment in each kind of sector mainly depends on the supply of the air with a certain quantity and condition. The different blast condition can form the different air flow field, and have the different ventilated effect. This article mainly studies the influence of different blast speeds on the indoor air flow field. By analyzing and establishing mathematical and physical models and simulating the indoor temperature field and the velocity field at the different blast speeds with CFD software Airpak, we conclude the relation between air supply velocity and the field of air temperature and velocity. Finally, we evaluate the airflow distribution by using energy index η and get a best air supply velocity. The result indicates that the air-flow form has a little change, the velocity increases and the temperature decreases when the air-supply velocity increases.
