Design and Implementation of Mine Environment Information System Based On Com GIS Technology

This article studies the design and implementation flow of mine environment information system (MEIS) based on Com GIS (Components GIS) technology. It firstly studies the design and construction of database, then studies the design of system structure and its function module. The system uses SQL Server 2000 to manage database, and adopts VB (Visual Basic) as the development environment, and uses the dynamic data connection engine ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) to realize data communication. The system makes use of Mapobjects component technology to realize basic geographic information functions, meanwhile the system has its own professional application functions such as dynamic environment monitoring, environment evaluation, environment management and so on. Thus the system realizes the organic integration of basic geographic information functions and professional application functions based on Com GIS technology and VB.
