Study on the Method of X3D-based 3D Visualization of Coal Bed

摘要：

A new method using X3D to realize 3D visualization of coal bed is introduced. X3D is a new web-3D standard, which is based on XML, and breaks many limitation of VRML. It is extensible, high interoperable and cross platform. Interpolated with the roof and floor, the DEM is formed. Then the Geospatial components of X3D is used to form a 3D coal bed which can run on the Internet. The result shows that X3D is a feasible solution for web 3D visualization.
