Design and Realization of Safety Assurance Management Information System Based on WebGIS

In this paper, the author firstly introduced the composition of Safety Assurance Management Information System for Coalmine based on WebGIS, and its primary functions. This system could not only provide the function of releasing a series of professional maps for coalmine production on internet, but also display the real-time monitoring information and alarm information on the vector mining engineering plan maps. The different gas content levels of monitoring point can be displayed with different colors. If the gas content has exceeded the normal level, the system would give an alarm with a red point twinkling at the alarm position and an alarm voice, at the same time the message platform would send the Short Message of the alarm points to relative staff. Second, this paper presented detailedly some key technologies and methods on how to realize this system, as follows: 1) the construction of safety assurance information management system for coalmine; 2) the transforming of monitoring data in LAN based on the GPRS technology; 3) the browsing and inquiry of maps based on WebGIS; 4) the alarm technologies of GSM message. Finally, this paper introduced the application of this system. The Safety Assurance Management Information System, based on the WebGIS, has been applied into several large-scale coalmine companies in China, and gained excellent application effect. Such a system has the features of low cost, simple operation, and real-time representation of underground information.
