Developing of Mining-land-reclamation Information System Based on Oracle Spatial
A great amount of land was damaged due to mining, which aggravates the conflict between land and human. Land reclamation is main content of sustainable development in mining area. The subject of land reclamation in mining area is an interdisciplinary, whose data with the characteristic of plenty in complicated relationship involve many fields such as mining, geology, geography, soil, agriculture, forestry, biology, society, economy, etc. The traditional means of data processing cannot meet the demand of that. This paper makes mainly the general design for mining-land-reclamation information system. Based on Oracle Spatial, some key techniques to develop the relevant system are studied, including storing spatial data with Oracle Spatial, transferring spatial data with MapInfo, getting data from Oracle Spatial database with MapX. After that, the system is developed with taking Jiawang mining area in Xuzhou City as a researching object. To the conclusion, the system has strong practicability, which is convenient to data analysis and decision-making aid, being helpful to promote the efficiency of reclamation planning and administrating.
