Research on 3D Vector Data Structure and Its Application in Virtual Mine System
The natural geological phenomenon of mines and various mining engineering, such as ore bodies, stratum, borehole, mine laneway, mined coal area, the earths surface and buildings etc., are all 3D spatial bodies. MGIS (Mine Geographic Information System,MGIS) and Digital mine Virtual System mainly deal with 3 kinds of spatial targets, i.e. mine laneway engineering, stratum, the earths surface and building, furthermore, their spatio-temporal characteristics are continual changing with exploitation of coal mining. In fact, the spacial data is a continual three-dimension(3D) information on spatio-temporal to Mine Geographic Information System,and they have the same importance on the vertical and horizontal direction.Although the existing GIS software can deal with the hight information of spatial entities use that the digital elevation model (DEM), but because they cant build up the 3D topological ralation between the spatial entities, make a lot of true 3D operate is very hard, therefore its be called two-dimensional GIS or 2.5-dimensional GIS.They are all 3D phenomenons,such as The mineral resources and mines safety evaluation,mining engineering,earths surface and the rock moving,underground conveyance,crustal stress and pollution of the environment etc..When we try to use two-dimension GIS to describe these phenomenons,it cant accuratlly reflect and analysis or display concerning data information.Therefore, 3D geology spatial model and imitating technique, mine laneway engineering model and virtual mine system are key technologies of digital mine construction. According to the application of mining, this paper makes full use of the information of mining surveying and engineering geological boreholes reality. Based on the review of the domestic and international theories and methodologies, this paper puts forwards to the unique expression on three-dimensional geological section and whole geological entity
