The Application of Balance Score-Card in Safety Performance Management
As an advanced management tool, the balance sore-card has been largely applied in our country, and it has achieved prominent success. At present, numerous domestic enterprises have put the safety input and the production input on the same important level. As a result, the enterprises give more emphasis on the examination of enterprises safety performance. But the safety performance management of most enterprises has not formed a system yet, and the examination of safety performance focuses on short-term goals only, which greatly restrains the effects of safety performance in enterprises safety management. In this paper, the author has mainly studied and analyzed how to apply the balance sore-card in safety management. In addition, enterprises safety strategies are also mentioned. Based on the four respects of the balance sore-card, the steps by which balance sore-card is implemented in safety management and the combination of short-term goals and long range objectives of enterprises are explained. At last, the authors own opinions about how to overcome the obstacles of balance sore-card in the safety management of enterprises have also been put forward.
