Digital Navigation of Multi-scale Gas-geological Map Base on MapObjects
The gas-geological map is an important basic map that is used for analyzing gas distribution and distributive features of gas outburst, researching into gas regulation, appraising utilization and development of gas and carrying out regional prediction of coal and gas outburst. There are some differences between different scales of gas maps which want to express sorts, contents and keystone of information, so we need to use some methods to show the gas-geological map in different scale, and found a navigation according to each other relationship of the gas-geological map , then link them up organically. In the paper, a kind of system for visualizing regional gas outburst prediction is developed by Visual C++ 6.0 software, Mapobjects 2.3 of GIS component produced by ESRI Company, gas geology theory, GIS method and theory, visualization theory, etc. With the aid of the visualization system, the bidirectional navigation of the gas-geological map is achieved in different scale between mining area and mine, between mine and working face, which provides a new convenient intuitionistic method for administration of gas-geological map and analyzing disciplinarian of gas geology.
