Physical Simulation Study on Ground Curvature Distortion Elimination by Means of Local Softening

To improve the distortion contact state of the building foundation and ground base due to settlement curvature distortion, a new method was put forward which can eliminate the ground curvature distortion by local water injection to the base, and the analogy simulation experiment was finished in the laboratory. Inject proper water in the center of the raised base or the two sides of the concave base respectively against the positive or negative ground curvature distortion, results show that the contact state of the building foundation and base is close to unbroken state. The means of wetting to form local softening supply a new protection method for the building affected by mining subsidence.
