Pore Structure Control of Porous Carbon Materials Preparetion by Polymer Blend Carbonization
Polymer blend carbonization is hopeful to become one method of controlling the pore size of carbon materials finely. The method is to blend two kinds of polymer which have phase separation structure, the instability polymer will decompound during carbonization, the pores are left in the carbon matrix, which was formed by steady polymer, finally, the pore structure will be formed. There is mutual interaction between the two polymer component in the polymer blend, that is to say, the pore structure form of carbonization production is decided by the structure of phase separation. All kinds of micropore structure which are from nanometer-level to millimeter-level are provided by the phase separation phenomenon of polymer blend, and the size of micropore depend on the blend ratio and the compatibility between polymer component. In this paper, the manipulative principle, methods, present research situation and the latest progress of porous carbon materials which was prepared by carbonized polymer blend were summarized, and its development trend was prospected.
