Foreign Capital Mergers & Acquisitions and Coal Industry Safety
The problem of large-scale foreign capital acquisitions of coal industry has become more apparent. Faced with powerful transnational capital investment, if we fail to establish an effective preventive mechanism, the legal system, coal industry will face great risks and it is difficult to prevent coal upscale market monopoly of transnational corporations through mergers and acquisitions, thus weakening the competitiveness of Chinas coal enterprises and endangering the coal industry security and economic security of the country. Therefore, there is the need to make publicly foreign mergers and acquisitions legal system by taking anti-monopoly law as the core as soon as possible, and to establish national institutions to deal with economic security and early warning mechanisms, to regulate and guide and adjust foreign acquisitions and to improve the international competitiveness of the coal industry.
