Study of Ultrasonic Reflection Method System on Distinguishing Coal Structure Type
Practises prove that there are close relations between coal structure and coal-gas outburst disasters. It will help us to predict the possibility of the coal-gas outburst that distinguishing the coal structure type accurately. But methods which can accurately distinguish the coal structure type are not perfect. A new method for distinguishing coal structure type based on ultrasonic reflection method is discussed in this paper. The ultrasonic velocity of the coal is detected through the traveltime-distance curve method, which will make it realized to distinguish the coal structure type and supervise the possibility of the coal-gas outburst.
