Nonlinear reciprocity relations in configurational mechanics
Reciprocity relations are useful tools in Newtonian and Eshelbian mechanics. Usually, they are derived within the linear theory of elasticity. In order to provide a firmer foundation, a nonlinear and then linearized formulation of the theorem is presented for configurational mechanics. The required operations are carried out using a simple tow-degreeof-freedom system.
