Unsplit transport method based on Youngs interface reconstruction algorithm in Eulerian method

Eulerian method is one of the most efficient methods in calculating large deformation of material, and it is very important in numerical simulation of explosion and impact problems. Based on Youngs interface reconstruction algorithm, the dimension unsplit method is introduced in transport calculation in which not only four neighboring cells are considered, but also the diagonal ones. Starting with the pure cells, rationality of unsplit transport method is proved theoretically. Then, after unsplit transport calculation in the mixed cells of two materials is analyzed, all of the possible distribution modes to eight neighboring cells in different transport directions as well as with different transport volumes are given. Programming of split and unsplit methods is finished to simulate the expansion of air, the results of which prove that, in the case of coarse cells, the unsplit method can improve precision efficiently, so as to reduce load of calculation and to save a lot of time.
