Investigation on large deformation constitutive model based on solid cylinder torsion test
The constitutive models have been discussed based on several objective corotational stress rates by the aid of solid cylinder torsion test. Plastic rigidity functions are calculated under large deformation respectively based on Oldroyd stress rate, Green-Naghdi stress rate and the stress rates with respect to the rotation rate Ωd of deformation rate coordinates. To show the practical value of torsion constitutive relation under large deformation, the elasto-plastic simple shear problem under large deformation has been analyzed by employing torsion constitutive relation based on the Green-Naghdi stress rate. It is proved that torsion constitutive relation renders non-oscillatory stress responses.
