Collapse of spherical shell subjected to external pressure

摘要：

In this paper we focus on collapse of spherical shells subjected to external pressure. Firstly, the comparison was made between spherical and one-dimensional strain wave propagation. Their difference and similarity were given. Then an analytic form of the shell motion was obtained. The influence of dimensioniess parameters on the motion of shell was discussed.
