Periodic and chaotic oscillations of laminated composite piezoelectric rectangular plate with 1:2:3 internal resonances
The chaotic dynamics of the simply supported laminated composite piezoelectric rectangular plates under combined parametric excitation and transverse loads are analyzed in this paper. The resonance case considered here is primary parametric resonance and 1:2:3 internal resonances. The results show the existence of periodic and chaotic motions for the laminated composite piezoelectric rectangular plates. The chaotic responses are sensitive to initial conditions, forcing loads and the parametric excitation. We can control the response of the system from chaotic motions to equilibrium point through changing the forcing loads and the piezoelectric excitation of the laminated composite piezoelectric plates.
