Singular-pulse orbits and chaotic dynamics in a six-dimensional viscoelastic moving belt
In the present study, the high-dimensional Melnikov method and the theory of the norm form were combined to investigate the global bifurcations and chaotic dynamics of the viscoelastic moving belt. The global bifurcation analysis indicates that there exist the homoclinic bifurcations and the singular-pulse orbits in this system.
