Numerical simulation of fluid-structure interaction for the wind pressure distribution of membrane structures located horizontally

Wind-induced destruction of membrane structures is a common phenomenon in tension membrane structures. In mis paper, the wind-induced dynamic responses of the open and closed tension membrane models in fluid-structure interaction (FSI) system are solved by ADINA software. The pressure distributed contours of the flow domain and the timedisplacement curves of the structures are given. Finally, the wind-induced dynamic coefficients, which are used to calculate the equivalent static wind load on the surface of structures, are obtained.
