Multiple look-ahead optimal velocity models with multi-velocity difference
In this paper, an extended multi-look-ahead driving model is presented via considering the effect of multi-velocity difference ahead. The investigation indicates the multi-velocity difference ahead has a great effect on improving stability and reducing energy consumption of the traffic flow. Moreover, the profiles of the average energy consumption in the process of evolution are also discussed.
