Nonlinear characteristics of vibration isolating system for magneto-rheological damper
In this paper, a test model of a vibration isolation system with magneto-theological (MR) damper was constructed and the Bingham model was introduced to describe the dynamic process of mechanical response for the MR damper. In addition, the primary resonance reduction in a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) MR damper system was investigated. An analytical solution for the primary resonance of the system was obtained, which was verified by numerical solution. The parameters affecting the performance of the vibration isolation are adjusted appropriately; the effects of the parameter are quantitatively or qualitatively analyzed. Finally the parameters are researched from the experiments.
