Dynamical behaviors of spiral waves driven by complex signals
Spiral waves observed in excitable and self-oscillatory media exist extensively in nature. In this paper, dynamical behavior and tip motion of spiral waves driven by complex external signals were studied It is well known that resonant and stochastic resonant phenomena of spiral waves can happen in a system subjected to simply periodic or noisy external force, but dynamics of spiral waves driven by complex external forces are more complex man periodic signals and simpler man noise, which have been rarely studied. The results in this paper show mat drift and compound motion of spiral waves with complex motion of tip can appear in the system subjected to complex force.
