Development of Technologies about Enhancing Electrostatic Precipitators Efficiency in Removing Fine Particles
Electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) play an important role in dust removal field and the conventional electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) have been modernized over the last few decades. In recent years, many new methods of construction have been proposed with the goal of increasing cleaning efficiency, particularly for particles in the submicrometer size range. The factors that influence ESPs efficiency were briefly introduced in this paper, and the modifications to ESPs aimed at increasing collection efficiency for fine particles and the overall collection efficiency were reviewed.
