Research on Monitoring PM10 by Using MODIS Remote Sensing data
This paper is to correlation analyze the PM10concentration data in the 11 monitoring stations in Hebei Province with corresponding points of the aerosol optical depth (ADD) by using MODIS data to retrieve air aerosol optical depth over Hebei Province in sunny day, and to set up the relational model of the aerosol optical depth in sunny day and inhalable paniculate matter PM10. The linear relational model can reach above the level of 0.01. Through several applying statistical testing, the average error is 17%. It meets the demands which using MODIS data dynamic monitors the spatial distribution of PM10 and it can give us a kind of new technology means for dynamic monitoring the spatial distribution and transportation of regional air pollution.
