Review of particles pollution from coal combustion

The combustion of coal generates pollutants such as particulate matters and toxic elements. The toxic elements such as arsenic and selenium may be associated with the airborne particulate matters. This results in a great risk to the human health and animal respiratory systems. In this paper, the mechanism of particulate formation from the coal combustion was demonstrated. And the possible hazardous of particulate matters were reviewed. At last, the establishments and suggestions to reduce the risk to human health were given out.
