Study on Factors Related to Bare Soil Wind Erosion in Suburban Area of Tianjin
Soil erosion by wind is a major source of urban ambient air paniculate matter in the area of Northern China and North-western China, especially in the duration from the beginning of November to the end of next May. The soil erosion by wind in suburban area contributes a significant percentage to Tianjin urban ambient air participate matter mass concentration. The following factors including soil humidity, ambient humidity and wind velocity affect the soil erosion. Using existing meteorological and environmental monitoring data we find that bare soil wind erosion is the common-effect of kinds of factors. It has a negative relation with the soil moisture and ambient humidity.
