THE SINGLE-CELL BIOSENSOR FOR MONITORING EXTRACELLULAR ACTION POTENTIAL AND EVALUATING DRUGS
Cell-based biosensor is a hotspot in research of biosensors recently, which takes living cell as sensitive unit and analyzes the functional information of analytes. Single-cell based biosensor characterizes with high sensitivity, excellent selectivity and fast response. So it is able to be applied rapidly in many areas, such as biomedical, enviromental detection and drugs discovery. This paper presents a novel single-based biosensor, from the ground of light addressable potentiometric sensor. We develope the structure and analyzed the possibility of single-cell based biosensor used to detect electric characters of living cell. The results confirm that this kind of biosensor is a potential tool for research of electrophysiology of living cell and evaluation of drugs.
