BIOINFORMATICS PLATFORM FOR CHIP-BASED DNA SEQUENCING

After the successful accomplishment of Human Genome Project, whats the next task in life sciences? The answer is to obtain all individual genome sequences, compare the discrepancy among these sequences referring to the sequencing result, and analyze the difference of the impressionability to illness among all individuals, and the diversity in the medical responses. The realization of the individual genome DNA sequencing becomes an urgent demand of the analysis and utilization of human genome. Therefore, how to sequence the whole individual human genome rapidly and efficiently is a tough challenge faced by genome science, thus we require a low-cost, rapid novel method to sequence the whole individual human genome.When we obtain the sequence of the whole individual human genome, what biological insights can be gleaned from it? we consider very large-scale features of the genome sequence by means of bioinformatics method; SNPs detection and analysis; CpG island; Prediction of Protein Coding Genes.
