IMPROVEMENT OF A FAIR NON-REPUDIATION PROTOCOL

摘要：

Fairness and Non-repudiation turns out to be an increasingly important security service with the fast growth of electronic commerce on the Internet. In this paper, we analyses the ASW fair non-repudiation e-mail protocol. We describe how the protocol is vulnerable to some attacks by a misbehaving originator which may degrade the efficiency or even cause denial of the nonrepudiation service and propose a modification which prevents this attack. Furthermore, we present a secure and efficient fair non-repudiation protocol based on ASW.
