EVALUATION OF TABLE RETRIEVE METHOD ON THE INTERNET FOR SUPPLY-CHAIN MANAGEMENT SUPPLIER SEARCHING
The paper demonstrates the ongoing research work which aimed at developing an e-based supplier selection expert system, which is a vital area in the ongoing development of e-manufacturing. The paper evaluates the approach of data retrieving and provides results from webbased tables for supplier information.Normally, tables are used to contain in the online suppliers homepages. As a result, the main research work is currently designing an Internet based intelligent search system, which is capable of tracing, and analyzing a large number of URLs which relate with the data with which user concerns.The system is being developed around four fundamental functions:· Automatically returns an analyzed list of URLs· Convert different table formats into defined standardtables.· Captures the useful information from tables· Provide the potential list of suppliers.The paper emphases how to generate the rules for capturing the useful information from tables, and for precise purpose, evaluates the rules by different resource.
