INTERNET-BASED SIMULATION OF FILM POLISHING PROCESS
This paper presents the implementation of an internetbased facility for the polishing process simulation, which complies with TCP/IP and is supported by Browser/Server model. The process simulation is one of pivotal technologies and implemental techniques of the internetbased agility manufacturing technology. A network architecture model is developed. The complicated polishing process is studied. The relationship model between grain size and roughness is established and the simulation arithmetic of surface topography formation of polishing process is studied. So that users input different polishing parameters in client-side and then they will get the simulation curves of surface topography, predict the roughness of workpiece surface and select the appropriate polishing parameters and polishing time.
