THE COMPUTER AIDED CALCULATING TECHNOLOGY OF THE MACHINING-PROCESS-DIMENSION-CHAIN
This paper studies the different features of machining- process-dimension-chain (namelymachining-dimension-chain or MDC) from general ones (such as the assembling dimension chain), stresses the existence of the two-ring dimension chain in the MDC, its necessity and position as well. Through an example it introduces the basic idea to find a solution solving machining process dimension, and tolerance and deviation of work-piece. It emphasizes that the two-ring dimension chain is a key and decisive factor to find the deviation of machining process dimension in the MDC with parallel-connection relation. Based on theory of MDC a CA solution for CAPP is introduced in operation dimension defining and computer aided calculating. CAMDCS (Computer Aided MDC Calculating System) is achieved by using modularization technology, through VB compiling interface and transferring database in this paper.
