Environmental Protection in Deep Waterway Regulated Project in Yangtze Estuary
After several decades regulation, man-made control points and stable bank and island boundary have been formed in Yangtze Estuary. This regulated process has successfully embodied the harmoniously development among the human being, estuary and nature. Deep-waterway regulated project as one of the most important projects in Yangtze Estuary has analyzed itself obverse and inverse effect in estuarys natural entironment, implemented effective entironment protective measures, these have effectively advanced the stability of river regime and the resource utilization in estuary, and promoted the harmoniously development between environment protection and regulated project, and also offered new situation and successful experiences to the integrated regulation in Yangtze Estuary and the society and economy continuable development in Yangtze Delta.
