Application of Spectrum Analysis on Management of Dredging Crafts
As a challenger against the conventional maintenance principles and methods, spectrum analysis technique can be adopted to predict the potential faults in the devices equipped on the dredging shipping. The detecting capability of it has been improved remarkably because of the introduction of new testing instruments which enjoys high technology, into it. Instead of the correction maintenances launched after the emerging of faults, all of the faults can be avoided in advance by pre-adjustment according to the predicting results in time, and therefore the gradual faults will be reduced and the probable paroxysmal ones will also be eradicated. Furthermore, the maintaining efficiency can be easily quantized. Owing to the new technology adopted, the costs of the maintenance of equipment are decreased and the dredging operation efficiency of the crafts is maximized.
