Design and Fabrication of Mini Vibration Power Generator System for Micro Sensor Networks
This paper presents a mini vibration power generator system for micro sensor networks with the output power of 35 mW, which is much larger than those in the literature. The system consists of a mini electromagnetic vibration power generator and a highly efficient energy harvesting circuit implemented on a tiny PCB. Using feedforward and feedback DC-DC PWM Boost Converter (DPBC), the designed circuit steps up the electric voltage and stores the electric energy into a super capacitor, which is then used as a small electrical power supply for an micro accelerometer network.
